It’s been a few days since then.
Today, I plan on going to Japan.
It’s been a week since I sent Mirai over there, so it’s time to show up and find out what’s going on, I also need to talk to the gang leader

Well, Nia’s a reserved girl most of the time so if she’s acting this spoiled, I guess I should comply.

Euphy has been discussing with the knights how to spend the funds they were spared today.
My life has been hectic since arriving here, but I guess I have no choice for the time being.
While I was thinking about how to explain to her, I saw Euphy running into the room.
「 Ah, Daiki-sama, you’re not gone yet. That’s great 」
「 What’s the hurry? 」
「 Well, uhm, souvenirs. 」 Actually, I don’t want fresh mackerel, I want it dried instead 」
I was wondering what was going on because she was running, but to think that she just wanted to change the souvenir she wanted.
I was shocked because I could just buy as much as she wanted, but then she noticed Nia who was clinging to me as if she was hiding.
「 Uhm, what is Nia doing? 」
「 Oh, I thought of taking her with me, so she’s clinging 」
「 Eh? Nia’s going too? 」
「 Yeah, so that’s why I can’t come back in two days 」
「 Eh?! Eh?! But what about me?! Nia, did you ask for this? 」
Euphy seems unable to follow, but she figured it out right away.
She casts a scolding glance behind me, and then Nia who clings to my back pokes her head out from the side and looks up at Euphy.
「 Uuu. I-I just want to go with Daiki-nii. Both of you have been so busy since coming here that I’m lonely. Is that too much, Euphy-nee? 」
Euphy seems to have received a critical hit from Nia’s begging mode, just like how I would do everything after just one line.
She struggles with her emotions as she also wants to go, but after a bit, she slumps her shoulder and sighs.

「 Yes, I know. Thank you, Euphy-nee 」
「 Geez. It’s okay. I’m also sorry that I can’t be with you. But again, next time I’ll go with Daiki-sama alone, okay? 」
「 Yes, yes. I’ll stay at home by then too 」
「 Have fun, Nia. Here are your clothes 」
That was close.
I totally forgot that my clothes and backpack were in the bag over there.
If I had taken her as is, I would have to buy something else to wear.
Euphy gave her consent, so I watched her leave the room and teleported to Japan with Nia who was clinging to me.
My room feeling familiar after a long absence, is filled with the muggy heat and humidity that reminds me that it’s summer in Japan.
I landed Nia in the doorway with her shoes on, she untied her shoelaces and took them off herself, went to the back of the room, turned on the air conditioner, and stuck under it to get some cool air.
Seeing her move to match the angle of the vent is cute.
But, her face doesn’t look like she’s feeling hot.
Is she tolerant?
I smiled at her, took out my clothes, and put on a new one.
「 Nia, I’ll be doing some business first, can I ask you to stay at home for now? 」
「 Are you going back right away? 」
「 Hmm, I think I’ll be back in two or three hours. Maybe I’ll be back soon 」
「 Three hours? I don’t know how long that is but I’ll wait 」
The concept of time in the other world exists, and the day there is also 24 hours, just like on earth, but only nobles and churches have the facility to tell time.
That’s why townspeople, adventurers, and even merchants have a vague sense of time.
Nia, a beautiful animal-eared girl started looking for tools to pass the time, she opened a men’s magazine on the shelf and quickly put it back, she had a loose sense of what it was.

She hugged my arm and snuggled, then pointed at the computer at the table.
「 Daiki-nii, can I watch here? This has moving pictures, right? I want to watch 」
「 The last thing we watched here was, oh, short videos 」
When I came to Japan with Euphy and Nia, I used computers to do some research, and I also watched videos on a giant video sight on my favorite channel.
Back then, I was also watching a short video, and Nia who was lying on top of me on the sofa also stared at the screen with me.
She didn’t say anything at that time, just watching the screen, but she liked the short videos that she wanted to watch again.

Nia just learned the controls, and she’s glued to the screen with her finger on the arrow on the keyboard.
She’s smiling and having fun, I guess she can use this to kill time.
「 Okay, I’m off now. If you’re thirsty…oh, there’s nothing on the fridge. You can drink this instead 」
「 Ooho! The fuzzy and sweet one! Take care, Daiki-nii! 」
The room was cool enough that it shouldn’t be a problem, but I was afraid of heat stroke, so I took cola from the fridge inside the magic bag and tossed it, Nia caught it and I went off.
If only she had some potato chips then she’ll look like some recluse animal-eared girl.
I’m just wearing a T-shirt on top, and it looks alright.
I leave the place with my phone in hand and start my caller app as I walk down.
