「Okay, let’s get in the carriage」
「Ooh! Our journey’s starting! Hurry up and get in!」
It’s a little late in the morning.
Nia looked excited in front of the carriage parked in front of the gate.
She knows nothing but this city, so she’s going on an adventure into the unknown.
She’s holding my hand, humming while getting on the carriage.
「The first town will take a day, right?」
「That’s right. I forgot the name, anyway, we’re going north」

She’s excited to be away from home for the first time, but it seems to have gotten her more excited that her tail never stopped wagging.

While I was enjoying her tail, Euphy who was sitting on the coach looked back and called us through the window.
「Daiki-sama, are we ready to depart?」
「Yeah, please do. After lunch, I’ll also try coaching, teach me」

The carriage the three of us boarded sets off from the gates and to the outside world.
That carriage by the way is, of course, Davey’s carriage.
After freeing Euphy from slavery yesterday, I went to check with the head soldier and took it.
He complained that we could’ve had a drink at least before leaving.

After a few more hours of coaching the carriage, it was time for lunch because the three of us were hungry.
With cooking utensils loaded in the wagon and using Euphy’s fire magic, which also has a skill level of 2 thanks to the skill orb we obtained in the dungeon, we were ready to cook sausages and dried fish.

She’s blushing and sweating.

「T-That’s…」 B-But if Daiki-sama’s okay with it… No, I can’t!」
「You’re too troubled. I’ll buy more, so get used to eating this stuff」

She’s quick to change from being conflicted to thankful.
「Ah. If so, what is Daiki-sama eating?」
「Eh? I’ve got no choice but this bread」
I took out a peanut butter from the magic bag.
Maybe it’s because I’ve been eating bread every day since coming to this world, when shopping, I naturally found myself putting it in the basket.
I also buy some because they’re inexpensive (about 100 yen) and more importantly, they last a long time if unopened.
I rip the plastic, open the lid, and remove the silver inning lid to reveal a shiny, beautifully colored, viscous cream.
I applied it to the bread using a fork, which I used to poke the fish and bring it to my mouth.
Even hard bread tastes good for such a reasonably priced spread.

I gave her my fish, and yet she’s still interested in what I’m eating.

She’s interested in unknown foods but seems hesitant to eat something she doesn’t know.
Then, I’ll scoop up some of the peanut butter with my finger and bring it to Euphy’s mouth, then she bites it without hesitation, probably because she usually sucks them
At first, she sucked it but was afraid to extend her tongue, but halfway through, she started slurping after knowing the taste.
Hmm, as expected of my teachings, even my fingers are feeling good.
「Hafuu, this is delicious. It’s my first time tasting something like this. What could the ingredients be?」
「Peanuts, and sugar, I think? There’s probably a lot of other stuff there but I think that’s the main thing」
「Peanuts? It’s my first time hearing a nut like that」
「Euphy doesn’t know either? 「Maybe it’s probably nonexistent in this world.」
I’m bringing in Japanese stuff without much thought so far and I haven’t received any complaints from the Tiny goddess, so it’s okay, right?

If Euphy were like this, Nia who’s crazy about the sausage will naturally be curious, and she approached me.
「Daiki-nii, me too」
「Sure, lick it」
I let Nia lick the peanut butter off my finger, and she didn’t even hesitate to suck, using her tongue, probably because she already saw it.
Her little tongue crawls over my finger, Nia doesn’t usually do this.
Usually, she’s more curious, or clumsy.
I’ll use peanut butter as a spread next time.
No, let’s not play with food like that.
「How’s that, Nia? Delicious?」
「Haa, this is sweet and delicious! Can I have one more?」
「You two can have as much as you want」
I’m satisfied now, so let’s have them eat dessert after dinner

After lunch, we took a short break, then Euphy and Nia were happily talking about something
I took out my phone from my magic bag for no reason and found that the time was about 12:30

After that, I’m getting into the coach seat and resumed the trip.

After a few hours of traveling as the coach, I came to a town I thought was our destination.
Compared to the city where I was until this morning, this one’s smaller in scale.

This road has several inns because its location is a stopover point of the journey.
From among them, I’ve selected a first-class inn and I’m off for the day.
The next day, the carriage journey started early in the morning, and nothing changed as we continue our way.
A few times I saw beasts and monsters in the distance, and a passing merchant asked me if I want to buy something, but other than that, it was all about moving through nature.
When I’m the coach, I honestly feel that about half of the time, I was unconscious, leaving the horses to do the moving.

Nia, sitting next to me, did the same, leaning against me and gazing ahead blankly.
