A single road stretches long into the forest..surrounded by large trees.
We’ve been sitting in the coach seat for a dozen minutes, I think I can leave the horses to drive the carriage.
As I grew tired of the unchanging scenery, wondering how long it would last, I finally saw the end of the forest out of the corner of my eye.
Once we pass through it, I saw an open meadow, and a wall signifying the presence of human habitation in this world.
「Ooh? We’re finally here? Hey, Euphy, Nia. I see the city now」
When I called out the two through the small window behind, I hear a lovely voice coming inside the carriage.
「Ooh? Daiki-nii? City? We’re finally here~」
「Daiki-sama, I’ll come next to you. Oh, that’s Recti you see there. I heard about it, it seems to be a fine town」
「Ah, me too!」
Euphy and Nia opened the carriage door as they reply, and they leaned forward and scrambled to the coach seat where I was sitting.
I told them not to do anything dangerous because my Japanese common sense came into my mind.
But our bodies are far stronger than anyone-or even on Earth.
At this slow speed, even if we fall, we’re not going to get injured.
「Ehehehe, this is my spot」
Nia sits her small ass in between my legs.
Her long, fox-like ears slightly obstructed my vision, and her wagging tail touches my skin.
There’s nothing wrong with it since I can embrace this cute little beast-girl from behind.
「Geez, Nia’s such a spoiled girl」
Euphy said with a slightly raised eyebrow, then she coils in my arms.
We’re both wearing armor, so I can’t fully enjoy her smooth skin, but having a beautiful blonde-haired and blue-eyed girl lean on me is already exquisite.
We passed through the city gates, maintaining our weird formation where the carriage is empty and all of us were in the coach seat.
It took us more than a month to finally reach our destination, the town of Recti, where the Marquis de Blaureite of Loureshou resides
「What should we do first? Get an inn?」
「Let’s head first to the place where everyone said they’ll be. I think the inn can wait after that」
「Right. We’ll figure out the rest after meeting the Adicilton guys」
Still on the carriage, we went down the main street leading from the gate.
This city’s no more than half of the Nyhied’s Royal capital
However, from the senses cultivated from my otherworld experience, I’d say that this city is quite large in scale.
People here seem lively and safe.
Marquis de Blaureite who rules this region seems to have a good reign.
「Still, one month of travel seems long. Are you tired, Nia?」
「Hm? I’m not tired at all」
Nia who responded with a forward-looking face didn’t seem fatigued.
「I see. It’s your first trip, and you’re away from your city, so I thought that you’d be tired, not just physically but emotionally as well, but you seem okay」

I was patting Nia between her ears, then she suddenly turned around and looked at me.
「Ah, but I guess I might be tired. I want a sausage」
「You know how to get spoiled, don’t you?」

「What’s with that weird reply. I get it, let’s eat one later tonight」
「Oooh, sausages!」
「Sorry to disappoint but we only have one bag left. Don’t get your expectations too high since we’re getting out of stock」
「?! Shauuu….」
Nia flops her ears looking sad.
I mean, she’s making weird noises again, please don’t get into weird habits.
After that exchange with Nia, Euphy puts her face close to my ear.
「I want fish」
She whispers cutely and kissed my cheeks.
Hmm, who could say no to such a request?
Your wish is my command, princess…
Our carriage continued while we make our exchange, and now we were over the main street and entering the center of the town.
「I’m just letting the carriage go along, but Euphy knows where to go, right?」
「I don’t know the exact location, but there should be a pavilion near the center. Look, there are more pavilions around here, let’s go there and ask the soldiers」
I’ve always thought about this, but there’s no such thing as addresses in this world.
The idea is to head to the place and just ask whoever seems to be prevalent among the nobles and commoners alike.
「You call it pavilion, but it looks like we have a few. I’d get it if we were in the capital or something, but, why do they have this many?」
「Some of these pavilions are owned by the family, but I believe most of them are owned by noble proteges」
「Oh, the system of this country you told me before」
Seems like in this country, the nobility has great power, unlike in countries where the king has absolute power.
From what I heard, several nobles were like the feudal lords in the Warring States period, and the most powerful of them is the royal family that holds the country together.
The Blaureite family rules this city, and they seem to be one of the feudal lords, and the buildings in line the street as you approach the center of the city belong to the nobles who follow their family.
Approaching the pavilion, there are soldiers posted in it.
Euphy calls one out as she drives the carriage near them.
「Which of the pavilions shelter the Adiciltons? Do you know?」
When approached, the soldier looked at Euphy’s face and replied with a polite tone.
「They should be five doors from here on the right side. Do you need guidance?」
They must’ve thought that Euphy was a noble with grace and looks that won’t seem commoner.
They’re even offering to guide the way.
「No need. You can return to your post. Thank you」
However, Euphy softly declined and finished the conversation.
I guess this guy’s a former noble too.
Knowing her usual appearance, and knowing her in bed, I felt nothing but discomfort when I see Euphy talking to soldiers who have blank faces, but that feeling soon disappeared.
As we advance our carriage, Euphy who had been keeping a straight face, suddenly hugged Nia and me.
「It’s coming soon! Aah, we’re meeting everyone…」
「That’s an intense drop-off. What happened to the noble mode earlier?」
Euphy’s face was sparkling as she tangles with us.
「Even if you say that, if I was hugging and smiling with Daiki-sama there, the soldier’s response would be rough. I chose my time and place properly」
「Euphy-nee uses different attitudes to match her face. I’m fine with it because she’s gentle with me」
I agree.
Sometimes, she does ghastly things with such a beautiful face, and sometimes, she’s a noble with no facial expression, and sometimes, she releases a sweet cat-like voice.
If you ask me, she always looks pretty so it’s fine.
Even so, the area around the pavilion is quite different than the city.
It’s like a calm rich neighborhood.
There are places like that in Japan, but this is on a slightly different scale.
Each one is a large, independent plot of land with a mansion within it.
There are buildings sizes of schools all over the place.
Furthermore, all the pavilions have large gardens.
The location faces the passageway, one can see the path to entrances, each with its own design.
I saw some fountain-like things in a few houses, but how in the world do they move those things?
As the carriage moves forward with my eyes dazzled by the pavilions lined up, Euphy tugged my arm.
「It’s them! D–Daiki-sama! It’s that place! I’m sure of it!」
She sounded a bit impatient, but when I followed her gaze, I saw several men wielding weapons.
